After a couple of stops in Kamonyi District, I returned to Kigali. Crossing the bridge at Ruliba and entering the city, I felt a deep sense of accomplishment. This time, I chose to ride into the CBD through Mount Kigali rather than the busy Nyabugogo Junction, taking a quiet moment to reflect on the journey I had just completed.

Over the course of the two-month expedition, I conducted 17 book club sessions and gave away books to the participants. The books used were paid for by local businesses. As the author of the books, the proceeds from sales not only supported the expedition but also allowed me to share the joy of reading with communities across the country.

I would like to sincerely acknowledge the following businesses for making this journey possible: Mamba Club, Gorilla Homestay, Chemchem Restaurant, Ecoair Apartment Hotel, Eagle View Lodge, Beyond the Gorillas Experience, La Cigale Guest House, Umuvumba Riverside Lodge, Kivu Galaxy Hotel, Ma Campagne Resort, Falcon Golf & Country Club, Akagera Transit Lodge, and Rutete Eco-Lodge.

The 30 Districts Expedition was more than a tour—it was a journey of connection, learning, and giving back. In the end, I returned to Kigali was lasting memories and a ton of stories.

This tour taught me how to work remotely, how to find opportunities and pursue them on the go, and how to improve my negotiation skills. It sharpened my time management, and yes, I was tested when a crisis hit in the middle of the tour—my old platform was hacked. Promoting sponsors on the stolen site was part of the sponsorship deals, so I had no choice but to adapt. That experience pushed me to learn how to build and manage websites, and afrikanzuri.com was born. As far as technology is concerned, I learned much, much more and discovered endless opportunities in the digital space.

The tour truly opened my eyes. It was a game-changer. I saw firsthand that there is business to be done out there, that opportunities abound for those willing to seek them. And beyond business, the book 30 Districts Expedition is, like any good book, a magical product—I will never run out of stock.

The entire expedition has been documented and shared with the world on afrikanzuri.com, offering readers a chance to travel alongside me through every district, every stop, and every unforgettable experience. For those who want a deeper dive, a book highlighting the journey will be launched soon—bringing the sights, sounds, and stories of Rwanda directly to your hands.

To conclude, let me say something about my newfound respect for the machine that made this journey possible. This adventure motorcycle was more than a mode of transport—it was a trusted companion, carrying me across valleys, hills, and winding roads with ease. Assembled in Rwanda by talented young engineers, it reflects the ingenuity and ambition thriving in this country. Riding it, I didn’t just cover distances—I experienced the thrill of exploration, witnessed the potential of homegrown innovation, and was reminded that with determination and creativity, even the longest journeys can be powered from within.
