After a week exploring the calm shores of Lake Muhazi, I found myself back in the heartbeat of Kigali, somewhere in Kanombe suburb to be specific. The streets were alive—motorbikes honking, pedestrians weaving past, and a parade of modern vehicles—a typical Kigali scene that felt worlds away from the tranquil Muhazi Belt.

I had a date with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while, and she recommended Meeting Point. Upon arrival, I slipped into a hidden corner—my little nook of quiet amidst the city bustle. A cup of aromatic coffee in hand, I knocked out a pending assignment, letting the familiar click of my keyboard mix with the distant hum of the street.

Once the work was wrapped up, I joined my friend on the verandah. For the record, she’s affiliated with the business. We settled on Meeting Point because it's convenient for her to schedule meet-ups there, whether they’re strictly business or pleasantly leisurely.

The setting couldn’t have been more perfect—aromatic coffee for me, a casual drink for her, laughter for both of us. Meeting Point caters to coffee lovers and casual sippers alike, a rare combination that somehow feels just right.

For a moment, I was suspended between two worlds: the serene lakeside adventures I had just lived, and the buzzing, ever-alive Kigali streets where the rhythm of life is faster. Coffee, conversation, and a little bit of chaos—sometimes, that’s the perfect way to catch your breath before the next adventure begins.
